From £325Naming ceremonies are a wonderful way to welcome a child of any age into the family.
Whether your child is relatively newborn or you want to welcome step children or adopted children into the family, a naming ceremony gives you as parents the opportunity to make promises and declare your commitment and love to the child in the presence of family and friends.
Some parents also choose to have ‘supporting adults’ take part in the ceremony and make promises to support the child in their growth and development into adulthood.
The ceremony can be held anywhere. It can include religious elements, music and poems. You can also incorporate symbolic elements such as the planting of a tree or creating a memory capsule – the choices are endless – and this is what makes a naming ceremony such a joyous occasion!
I will create a ceremony which will be as special as you hope it will be and so much more!

How it all works
When planning a naming ceremony, I'll be there to guide you through from beginning to end...
Our meeting
I will meet with you and your family so we can get to know each other, discuss lots of ideas and start creating the perfect naming ceremony. This can be at your home or at your chosen venue.
The writing
I will create a draft of your ceremony and give you the opportunity to make any changes or additions you wish. Together we will work on it until it's perfect for you.
The big day
On the day I will lead the naming ceremony just the way we planned. You will receive a ceremony certificate and a copy of your unique script as a keepsake of your special day.
